My Family

Hi my name is Ashley. We are five in our family.   I am the eldest in my family. My sister’s name is Kristina and she is the youngest in our family.  My parents are Shalendra Gaundar and Vindu Gaundar.  My grandmother is Sarojini Gaundar and my grandfather was Subramani Gaundar.

I was born in New Zealand on the 9 September 2002.  We lived in New Zealand for 5 years and then we moved in Australia and that’s where we currently live.  My sister was born in New Zealand on the 8 January 2004.

My dad is the eldest in his family of 3 brothers.  They are Sajendra Gaundar and Satendra Gaundar.  They originally from Fiji Islands where they were born and bred.  They lived in Suva for most of their lives and my dad moved to New Zealand in 1992 to further his studies.

My dad and mum got married in 1999 and they settled in New Zealand first and later in 2008 we moved to Australia in April to live here.  Currently my dad is working and my mum is studying and working casually.
